APOSTILLE SERVICE

Generally, a public document issued in a foreign country must be certified with an apostille or legalised, e.g. Canada. An apostille is also required for official documents issued in Estonia (e.g. school leaving certificates and diplomas, register extracts, notarial powers of attorney) if the document is to be used in a foreign country that has acceded to the Apostille Convention. More information on apostille can be found here: https://www.notar.ee/en/teabekeskus/apostille. More details on the legalisation of documents can be found here: https://www.vm.ee/en/consular-visa-and-travel-information/consular-information-and-services/legalisation-public-document.

There is no need to legalise or apostille documents for use or issue in a country with which Estonia has signed an agreement on legal assistance, e.g., Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, or Poland.

Dussan can arrange an apostille for its customers.
